All About Cindy
Cindy Sherman is one of the most influential contemporary artists, wildly recognized by her conceptual portraits, for more than thirty years now she has been questioning challenging subjects like the role and representation of women in the society through her photographs.
Cindy Sherman, a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) through June and touring for a year thereafter, is showing 171 of her character pieces in an exhibit that praises her insightful study of women in society.
